A celebration of loveJen & Chan

Jen & Chan have so much love for each other. They got married in Pretoria end of last year. A handful of family members and friends witnessed their signing. It was intimate, small and so special.

In true Jen and Chan style, they organized an amazing post celebration beginning of this year at Sir James V D Merwe in Kramerville. What would a marriage be without a party to celebrate the union of the two awesome humans. This has to be one of the most unique and funky weddings I’ve shot at. I love everything about it.

Because Jen didn’t get to walk down the aisle and Chan never had his “OMG, I’m getting married to THIS woman” moment, I suggested they do a “first look” (if you don’t know what this is yet, you’ll understand from the photos below).

I’m so happy I could capture these special moments for two very special friends of mine.

P.S – How cute is Pixel (their little Corgi doggy).

For the gear geeks: I shot the whole wedding 100% with Fujifilm. I used the x100T along with the xt-2 paired with either 35mm f2 or 56mm f1.2

Nice work Dilon, nice to see what the fuji is capable of. Lovely capture of the groom shedding a few tears.

Thanks so much tarik. :) These little fuji cameras really pack a punch! I'm moving over from canon to fuji soon.
