I have photographed a lot of weddings, but this one is a very special one. It’s my littler sister’s wedding. Every single wedding that I photograph is special to me, but documenting Kayleigh’s wedding was just that extra special.
As Kayleigh’s older brother, I still remember meeting Lance for the first time and giving him the death stare (basically letting him know that he better not break my little sister’s heart). More than five years later and they are now married.
I have gotten to know Lance over the years, and I don’t think Kayleigh could have found a better match. They share so much together and I can tell how much they love each other.
Kayleigh planned the day and did a lot of DIY, a lot of family got involved to make this wedding happen. My mum made the cake and the aunties got involved to help with flowers. My brother made the getting ready gowns for the girls. And of course the venue (Cradle Valley) did so much to make Kayleigh & Lance’s day extra special! I can seriously recommend Cradle Valley to anyone wanting to get married in Gauteng. It’s one of the best venues I’ve photographed at. Their attention to detail is unparalleled.
