I met Abigail & Jared years ago when I did a couple shoot for them on Kloof corner when they weren’t even engaged yet. Click here if you’d like to check it out. It was a pretty epic. A nearly 2 hour hike up to the top. We bonded over hiking, our love of the outdoors and our obsession with cycling (well that was more me and Jared ha ha).

We kept in touch over the years. And they finally got engaged! When Abigail asked me to be their photographer I said yes immediately!

I don’t think they could have chosen a better venue than Galileo farm. I’ve captured many weddings in Elgin, it’s my favourite place in the whole world, not just for weddings, Elle and I often camp there! There’s something about being in nature amongst fields of apple trees, surrounded by rolling hills.

The one thing I noticed about their wedding was just how happy the day was. I don’t think I’ve captured this many smiles before. Which is totally awesome, if you know me in person, you’ll know that I’m super happy all the time and I’m usually laughing or smiling.
